Has anyone else watched this show? They take artists from the 80's who have seemingly vanished into thin air and bring them back on in a "competition" to see who can do the best current hit. I've watched it for the past three weeks, and I think the best way to describe it is as a train wreck before it occurs.
Last night featured Irene Cara, Sophie B. Hawkins, Howard Jones, Wang Chung and Cameo. Every single one of these artists can no longer hold a note properly. Howard Jones sang his original hit best of the bunch and even then he lacked the spark he used to have. So I'm wondering, how much are these artists paid to come on and prove they just don't have it anymore?
