Okay, my son finished this latest book in a day. I admit, I peeked ahead at the ending to find out who the Dark Prince is... I'm not surprised, but I'm also not telling.
I am curious though - if you've finished the book - my son is convinced there cannot be a 7th book now. What do you think? If you do give spoilers - make sure you state so for others!

I was watching a documentary today about J.K. Rowling. She has finished the seventh book already and said that it delves more into Harry's personal life and past.
Your son finished the latest Harry Potter book in a day? That thing's like 600 plus pages! How on earth did he finish it in a day?
When the topic truly interests him, he won't walk away. The book arrived in the mail on Saturday afternoon... he started it immediately.
Then we got a call from my friend whose brother was in the hospital and she needed someone to watch her baby, so we drove to her house - he read for the full trip and kept reading once we got there.
We left there at about 10pm, and he started reading again when we got home. I think he said he finally stopped at midnight because he was tired.
The next morning, he got up at 8 and started reading again. This time he kept reading until almost noon when he finished it.
He is like his mom in that manner -- if the book is good, he won't walk away until he knows what happens.
